Activity: Features of ChatGPT

  1. You want to have a private (incognito) conversation with ChatGPT so that history is not saved after closing the chat. What feature in ChatGPT allows this?
  2. You have a complex instruction or a long chain of instructions that you want to provide to ChatGPT at once. How will you organize your prompt?
  3. You want ChatGPT to remember things about you (e.g., that you have three dogs and a cat) across all conversations. What feature allows permanent context for prompts?
  4. You want to write a letter to your mom and need multiple rounds of prompting and editing. You want the document on one side of the screen and prompting on the other. What feature will you use?
    • Once you edit the contents created by ChatGPT, you want to highlight the new changes made by ChatGPT.
    • You want to download ChatGPT’s generated content as a PDF, DOCX, or Markdown file.
    • You want ChatGPT’s answers to be adjustable in length (shorter, longer, shortest, longest). How many ways are there to do this and what tools exist? Are both ways adjustable?
